At Bethel we also care for the elderly. Once per month they are given a stipend and periodically they are supplied with groceries.
In the 1970's Bethel adopted Cluster A at the Golden Age Home. Our pastor also serves on the Board of the Home. Activities carried out here include:
² Provision of a hot meal once per week
² Grooming of men's hair and combing of ladies hair
² Providing transportation for some to attend church services
On a weekly basis members of the church visit the shut-ins who live within the church environs such as Franklyn Town and assist them in whatever way necessary.
