Project HELP the social outreach arm of the Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) was formed in 1977 Project HELP was officially launched on January 25, 1981. It is designed to help the less fortunate, especially those in the immediate environs of the church.

Its aims are:

• To address the spiritual and social needs of the less fortunate.
• To provide educational opportunities to needy children.
• To help the young to develop a sense of responsibility, creativity and independence.

Programmes under Project HELP are:

• Adopt-A-Child
• Golden Age Adopt-A-Cluster
• Shut-In Project
• Indigent Care
• Bethel United Training Institute
